On July 16-17, 3L will convene in Omaha, Nebraska. Over the course of these two days, principal supervisors will:
- Examine the impact of principal supervisors on principal practice
- Explore and apply equity-driven leadership practices to the supervisor role
- Exchange best practices with colleagues from districts across the country
Learning each day is facilitated by experienced leadership coaches, including Steve Gering, former chief leadership development officer at Chicago Public Schools and Valda Valbrun, former administrator and executive director of organizational development for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
The 3L meeting is intentionally kept small – with no more than 50 participants – to ensure that each district team receives individualized support that it can use to meaningfully improve practice.
