With a clear theory of action and strategic plan in place, we help our clients create new structures and processes to carry out their identified changes. Whether it’s reorganizing a central office, establishing a new program, or redesigning a school, we help to build organizational capacity to successfully manage change—identifying the problem, training around the solution, and setting up support structures like professional learning networks to aid in peer learning and sustainability.
We know that the path to implementation isn’t always linear, so we help our clients make mid-course adjustments, providing targeted professional learning and other supports to maintain the momentum of change. As seasoned practitioners and technical assistance providers, we’re able to provide our clients with tested strategies and solutions so they don’t have to reinvent the wheel to realize impact.
Over the course of five years in Kansas, we worked with more than 40 districts across the state to turn things around. When we started, districts and principals thought they were being punished. By the end, they were clamoring to get into the network because they were so motivated by the success they saw.
