Elainah Elkins is a current graduate student at George Washington University, where she is completing her master’s degree in Education Policy. Prior to joining the team at FourPoint Education, Elainah taught reading and literacy online to K-12 students across the country. Additionally, she was a part of the 2023 Urban Education Leaders Program at D.C. Public Schools. During this time, she assisted with the implementation of early literacy initiatives across the district, specifically working with teachers and leaders to replicate best practices within schools and provide equitable reading instruction to marginalized groups of students.
In addition to experience working with a large, urban school district, Elainah also has policy research experience working at a D.C. based think-tank. While there, she conducted research on K-12 education policy topics such as parental rights, school funding, school choice, NAEP results, and chronic absenteeism.
Elainah is a proud first-generation college student and alum of James Madison University. Her work is driven by a commitment to ensuring that all students have access to the best educational opportunities.
