Karina Orot is an associate with FourPoint who provides project coordination and some graphic design for various programs and teams at FourPoint. Specifically, Karina has worked on teams to help schools and LEAs implement the Reimagining Use of Time strategy of the Maryland Blueprint and Additional Days School Year initiative from the Texas Education Agency.More generally, Karina has worked closely with teams developing postsecondary readiness and success strategies across the country. She produced FourPoint’s Virtual Learning Series during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years.
Prior to Karina’s work at FourPoint, she served in various roles, including technical director and manager, at the National Security Agency within the U.S. Department of Defense. Karina managed multiple teams of experts within multiple fields. She also developed data systems and worked closely with subject-matter experts, managers, and policy-makers to inform and influence decisions on a wide variety of technical issues.
